Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website and purchasing from The May Label, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of any updates.

 

1. Business Information

The May Label is a Wisconsin based small business specializing in: Personalized gifts

  • Handmade items

  • Mystery box products

  • Custom sublimation products

Because many products are handmade and custom, slight variations may occur.

2. Processing Times

Processing time is 3–5 business days unless otherwise stated.

Processing time may increase due to:

  • Order volume

  • Holidays

  • Bulk orders

  • Custom complexity

  • Material delays

Processing time is separate from shipping time and should be considered independently.

Business hours are Monday through Friday; all processing and shipping timelines are based on business days only. Weekends and holidays are not included.

Please note that orders including our Large Mystery Box may require additional processing time due to the nature of the product.

3. Custom Order Agreement Due to the nature of custom products:

ALL CUSTOM SALES ARE FINAL.

We do not allow:

  • Cancellations

  • Returns

  • Refunds

  • Exchanges

Customers are responsible for ensuring all customization information is correct when ordering.

4. Proof Approval Policy If a proof is provided:

Customer approval confirms:

  • Design approval

  • Spelling accuracy

  • Layout approval

  • Color acceptance

Once approved, The May Label is not responsible for errors.

5. Bulk Order Terms-Please reach out regarding any bulk purchases.

Full payment is required prior to the start of production for all bulk orders of personalized items. Discounts may be available for bulk purchases, depending on the quantity ordered.

Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Any deposits made are non-refundable once production has begun.

6. Product Variations Disclaimer

Color Variation Colors may vary due to:

  • Screen differences

  • Printing methods

  • Lighting Materials

  • This is not considered a defect.

Handmade Product Disclaimer Because items are handmade: Small imperfections may exist Slight variations may occur No two items will be identical These are normal characteristics of handmade goods.

7. Mystery Box Agreement

  • Mystery box items are random.

  • By purchasing you agree:

  • Items are random selections

  • No guarantees on specific items

  • No exchanges based on preference

  • No refunds

  • All mystery box sales are final.

8. Pet Environment & Allergy Responsibility Disclaimer

The May Label products are created, stored, and packaged in a home-based business environment where pets are present. Our workspace is located in a home with cats. While we take reasonable steps to maintain cleanliness and product quality, we cannot guarantee products will be completely free from pet hair, pet dander, dust, or other environmental allergens.

By purchasing from The May Label., you acknowledge and accept that products may be exposed to a pet-friendly environment. Customers with pet allergies or sensitivities purchase at their own risk.

The May Label shall not be held responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from exposure to pet environments.

  • By completing a purchase, you agree that:

  • You understand products are made in a pet-friendly environment

  • You accept any potential allergen exposure risk

  • You release The May Label from liability related to allergy claims

  • All sales remain final under this policy.

9. Care Instructions

Customers must follow provided care instructions.

The May Label is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Improper washing

  • Heat damage

  • Water damage

  • Mishandling

  • Failure to follow instructions   

10. Copyright & Image Policy

Customers must have permission to use any submitted images.

The May Label. will not knowingly reproduce copyrighted images or trademarked logos without authorization. We reserve the right to refuse any order that may violate copyright laws.

11. Chargeback Policy

Customers agree to contact The May Label before filing disputes.

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

  • Purchase bans

  • Dispute defense submission

  • Fraud reporting if necessary 

12. Limitation of Liability

The May Label is not liable for:

  • Shipping delays

  • Carrier damages

  • Customer errors

  • Product misuse

  • Lost packages

Liability shall never exceed the purchase price.

13. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for policy violations or inappropriate behavior.  

 

Governing Law These Terms are governed by Wisconsin law.
